LuV's ongoing REACH activities:

The new regulation REACH has now come into force on June 1st 2007. LuV is working on the preparations for REACH since 2003 and was already able to gather some experience with relevant aspects of REACH. Specifically the REACH workshops with customers in 2006 were a success. Responsible for the actual REACH activities and preparations is the service group 'Safety and Environmental Protection' (Joachim Häusler, Dr. Heiko Thoms). These REACH activities will more and more include presentations and publications. In the first half of 2007 Dr. Heiko Thoms was invited at different occasions to present the actual REACH preparations of LuV:

• WIP-Infotreffen (Wissens- und Innovations-Netzwerk Polymertechnik), Hannover, Titel of the presentation: Was tun Unternehmen heute, um sich auf REACH einzustellen?
