Cooperation of Neste Oil Corporation and Lehmann & Voss & Co.

Neste Oil the Finland based producer of high performance base oils and the family owned special chemical company Lehmann & Voss & Co.KG have been co-orporating for more than six years in marketing base oils to industrial lube blenders. Both the hydroisomerized and synthetic base oils have been sold under the Lehmann & Voss brand name LUVODUR.

To enlarge this fruitful partnership to selected automotive lubricant producers both companies recently signed a distribution contract. This enables Lehmann & Voss to offer the Neste Oil Corporation´s base oils under their official brand NEXBASE ® and is mainly dedicated to the increasing naming of NEXBASE ® hydroisomerized base oils in engine oil specifications of important car manufactures.

Due to a unique production process the NEXBASE ® 3000 series offer high performance base oils with low sulphur content combined with a high viscosity index and excellent cold temperature properties. This is why NEXBASE ® base oils are highly recommended for the formulation of modern multigrade engine oils designed to fulfil upcoming requirements concerning fuel economy, emission reduction and longer drain intervals.
