IT security at LuV on a high level!

On the occasion of a quality audit the auditor certified that we meet a high IT security standard.

The measures carried out by us are based on a holistic security strategy with three pillars: physical, technical and organizational security.

As far as physical security is concerned, we made investments in early fire detection, autonomous energy supplies, an uninterruptible power system (UPS), air-conditioning and room monitoring in the primary data center in our Wandsbek plant and upgraded it to the state-of-the-art in terms of security engineering. Our technical security is ensured by the storage systems installed in the Wandsbek and Alsterufer plants. They are linked to modern fiber optics lines on which we save practically all data for SAP, e-mail, office, etc. synchronously. Our Voice-over-IP telephony is likewise switched immediately to another plant if it breaks down in one of the plants.

Our organizational security is made up of works agreements and corresponding process instructions.

In the event of a disaster, the complete IT operations can be restarted at any other site within one working day.
