Lehmann & Voss & Co. acquires 60 % of Auer-Remy

With effect 01.01.2008 Lehmann & Voss & Co. has acquired 60 % of the shares of Auer-Remy Vertriebsgesellschaft Seltene Erden H. Blum & Co. GmbH.

Auer-Remy, Hamburg, Germany was founded in 1950 and operates a successful import and distribution business with a product focus in oxides, salts and compounds of rare earth metals as well as zirconium compounds for various industries.

Auer-Remy will continue to operate as independent company. The present Managing Director and minority shareholder Dr. Johannes Lange will remain head of the company.

By using resources and structures of Lehmann & Voss & Co., Auer-Remy`s access to the global sourcing markets, its competitiveness and its market coverage will be improved.
