Lehmann & Voss & Co. taking over Addicell business activities
LuV is set for expansion in the business with blowing agents for PVC extrusion.
Blowing agents for the plastics processing industry have been part of the portfolio of Lehmann & Voss & Co. for more than 40 years. One particular focus here is on the development of specific formulations tailored to special areas of application and produced as masterbatches exclusively for the individual client. Flexible production technology means that these specialties can also be manufactured cost-effectively in small quantities.
To reinforce the company's strong position in the field of blowing agents, Lehmann & Voss & Co. is taking over the business activities of Addicell Additive GmbH in Ellerbek near Hamburg (Germany) as from 1 May. Rainer Wüst, the managing director of Addicell, will be providing future support for LuV as a consultant.
Volker Oldach, head of the Additives and Concentrates business team at Lehmann & Voss & Co., explained the move as follows: "We are permanently expanding our service in the masterbatches sector. Addicell's know-how in the field of blowing agents for PVC extrusion and the pilot plant designed for the development of these applications will enable us to significantly expand our range of services in this area of activity."
