Increase in shareholding in Schneider Umwelttechnik AG, Switzerland

Effective January 1, 2010 Lehmann & Voss & Co. will increase its shareholding in Schneider Umwelttechnik AG in Winterthur, Switzerland to 50,4 %.

Schneider Umwelttechnik AG has had trading operations on the Swiss market for more than 100 years with products for filtration as well as functional fillers. Marketing activities focus on the chemical industry, the dyestuffs and coating industry as well as the beverage industry.

This increase in shareholding will result in a further improvement of the market penetration of the LEHVOSS Group in Switzerland and opens up new perspectives for the marketing of further raw materials (pharmaceutical raw materials, minerals, etc.).

Schneider Umwelttechnik AG generated sales revenues of CHF 7 million with a headcount of 8 in 2004. The current managing director and shareholder, Mr. Peter Simon, will continue to run the company.
