Stabilizing agents

Stabilizing products are used to remove turbidities which can be formed by proteins and/or yeasts as well as other suspended matter from beer. In this way beer is stabilized both in microbiological and also in chemico-/physical terms.

Our supply range comprises:

PVPP (polyvinylpolypyrrolidone).
This serves primarily for the removal of phenolic compounds.

Silica gels
Our program includes both xerogels and hydrogels. These products consist of high purity amorphous silicon dioxide and are an excellent solution for beer stabilization.

Silica brines
Liquid stabilizing agent based on high purity amorphous silicon dioxide.

Activated carbon
Under the brand name "Silcarbon" we offer steam-activated carbon as powder types and granular types which are used, amongst other things, to remove undesired colorants in beer.

In addition, we supply special coals for water treatment and for the removal of odour from spring waters.

Brewing gypsum
This pulverized non-settable calcium sulfate is used to improve taste in brewing water treatment.
