For our "Customized Polymer Materials" business unit, the market leader with global operations in the field of tribological, heat- and electricity-conducting high-performance compounds with four production sites in Germany, China and the USA, we are looking for a convincing sales person with intercultural experience to act as a Technical Sales Manager (m/f) in France.

Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for the sale of high-performance thermoplastics and compounds in France
  • Provision of advice for customers on the selection of multifunctional, thermoplastic materials – possibly in collaboration with our internal experts
  • Acquisition of new customers as well as active care for and retention of existing customers – both on a decision-maker (OEM, tiers) and processor level
  • Management of customer projects from offer submission to samples, the development of specifications and support with serial production
  • Responsibility for the sale of LUVOCOM 3F materials for 3D filament printing
  • Shaping of pricing policy and management of contract negotiations in coordination with Sales Management (head office in Hamburg)  
  • Development of new applications and individual customer solutions alongside Product Development
  • Long-term reinforcement of the market position through regular market analyses, as well as the development and implementation of suitable strategies

Your competencies:

  • Completion of studies (plastics technology, industrial engineering or similar) or equivalent technical training (preferably plastics molder or toolmaker) with relevant practical professional experience 
  • Several years of professional experience in the technical sale of high-performance thermoplastics and compounds
  • Outstanding technical expertise, ideally with initial experience in the automotive, mechanical engineering or medical technology sector
  • Very customer-focused and convincing personality with strong communication skills
  • Structured, methodical and autonomous way of working
  • Willingness to work from home
  • High level of intercultural understanding coupled with considerable pleasure in travel
  • Very good knowledge of English and French, confident use of MS Office
