For our service area Supply Chain Management we are looking for a full-time Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Conducting independent contract and price negotiations for raw materials and indirect requirements
- Development of purchasing strategies based on global procurement market analyses
- Development, evaluation and optimization of the supplier portfolio
- Bundling of purchasing activities
- Realization of savings potentials
- Optimization of purchasing processes and adherence to purchasing guidelines and compliance
Your competencies
- Completed technical or business studies, or commercial training, e.g. in wholesale and foreign trade or industry, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in a chemical-technical and international environment
- High degree of responsibility and flexibility coupled with an independent and structured way of working
- High technical affinity to accompany complex investment projects
- Solid background in complex pricing and contracting
- Very good knowledge of English, proficient in MS Office and SAP
