"State-of-the-art laboratory and pilot plant facilities"

As early as 1907 Lehmann & Voss & Co. set up a technical application laboratory to initiate own product development, technical service and quality testing. Today, the same site is home to a new building opened in 1988 which meets all the requirements of a state-of-the-art laboratory and pilot plant facility.

For the examination of development products and the quality testing of raw materials and finished products we use the following techniques (for detailed information please click on the methods):

• Classical titrimetric methods
• Instrumental analytics: infrared spectroscopy, laser diffraction, thermal analysis, rheology, etc. 
• Materials testing facility 
• Plastics processing machines on a pilot plant scale 
  
    

All test data from product development and quality control are entered into a computer-based laboratory information and management system.
