Neuenhauser Maschinenfabrik becomes an official processor of LUVOCOM® 3F focus materials

Neuenhauser Maschinenfabrik is expanding its activities in the field of additive manufacturing and is now an official processor of the LEHVOSS Group’s LUVOCOM® 3F focus materials. This further deepens the company’s expertise in industrial 3D printing and enables it to offer both in-house applications and services for external customers based on qualified high-performance filaments.

For several years, Neuenhauser Maschinenfabrik has operated a dedicated, industry-oriented 3D printing infrastructure for functional and series components. The LUVOCOM® 3F focus materials have now been qualified in Neuenhauser’s print farm, which has been modernized for this purpose. The focus materials stand for a clear materials strategy in industrial FFF printing: three materials for the majority of technical applications, designed for reproducible quality, process stability, and series production capability.

Specifically, the LUVOCOM® 3F focus materials include:

  • an unreinforced polyamide with high toughness, very good surface quality, and warp-free printing behavior,
  • a carbon-fiber-reinforced PET with high strength, temperature resistance, and low moisture uptake,
  • a carbon-fiber-reinforced PPS as a metal replacement with high stiffness and strength, chemical and flammability resistance (UL 94 V0).

“Our goal is to establish additive manufacturing as a reliable production tool in mechanical engineering. The LUVOCOM® 3F focus materials offer a very good combination of industrially relevant properties and stable, reproducible printability,” says Mathis Kleinert, Head of Additive Manufacturing at Neuenhauser Maschinenbau GmbH.

From LEHVOSS’s perspective, the collaboration is also a logical step. Focusing on a few clearly defined materials enables users to scale additive manufacturing economically and integrate it into existing production environments with process reliability. “Neuenhauser is now part of a growing network of processors and users,” explains Dr. Marcus Rechberger, Product Manager at the LEHVOSS Group. “We pursue a cooperative approach to gradually expand our know-how together - always with the aim of making industrial 3D printing even easier, faster, and more cost-effective.”

With its official approval as a processor of the LUVOCOM® 3F focus materials, Neuenhauser is now available as a competent industrial partner for demanding 3D printing applications - from potential analysis and component development through to series production for external customers.
