MELIVEA® – Freedom to Formulate
Hamburg, October 2025 – LEHVOSS Personal Care proudly announces the launch of MELIVEA®, a new range of multifunctional emulsifiers and mild surfactants designed to give formulators true freedom to formulate. Developed to meet the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance ingredients, MELIVEA® brings reliability, mildness, and versatility to the heart of modern personal care formulations.
Smart Functionals for Modern Formulation
MELIVEA® represents a new generation of functional ingredients combining natural origin, technical efficiency, and formulation flexibility. The range launches with two key products:
- MELIVEA® GSC MB (Glyceryl Stearate Citrate) – a natural, PEG-free O/W emulsifier offering excellent stability and sensorial performance. With broad compatibility across emollients and other cosmetic ingredients, it creates elegant, stable emulsions, from light lotions to rich, nourishing creams.
- MELIVEA® SSG MB (Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate) – a robust, mild, and multifunctional O/W emulsifier derived from L-glutamic acid (via corn fermentation) and plant-based fatty acids. Acting as both an emulsifier and amino acid surfactant, it supports mild cleansing and foaming properties while enhancing skin comfort.
Both emulsifiers are PEG-free, COSMOS-approved, and compatible with a wide range of personal care applications, from skincare and sun care to cleansing and color cosmetics.
