The range of LUVOMAG® magnesium oxide pastes for the rubber industry has undergone a comprehensive overhaul: After a project duration of one and a half years, the multi-stage production chain has now been fully modernized and expanded, with an annual capacity of up to 1,000 tons. The upgrades include an improved processing system, optimization of oversize particle protection, and a new automated portioning and packaging line. The latter enables the proven 1 kg blocks to be sealed in EVA film, doubling their shelf life to at least 12 months.
With this new production line, Lehmann&Voss&Co. is strengthening and diversifying its Hamburg-Wandsbek site, where plastic compounds, magnesium oxide thickening pastes, and dry liquids are already being manufactured.
LUVOMAG® magnesium oxide pastes and LUVOMAXX® zinc oxide pastes are characterized by a high and homogeneous pre-dispersion in non-migrating, rubber-compatible binders. The products are available in various activity levels and solid contents. For easy storage and dosing, they are sealed in fixed portions in processable EVA film.
